GENERAL GUIDELINES AND OTHER RELATED RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE OCTOBER 30, 2023 BARANGAY AND SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS (BSKE) AND ALL SUCCEEDING BSKEs THEREAFTER.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC), through Resolution No. 10924, promulgated on 07 June 2023, adopted the General Guidelines and Other Related Rules and Regulations for the October 30, 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) and All Succeeding BSKEs Thereafter. The Resolution prescribes the policies, procedures, and operational guidelines governing the conduct of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, covering pre-election, election day, and post-election activities. It serves as the principal reference for election officials, candidates, political stakeholders, and the electorate in ensuring the orderly, honest, peaceful, and credible conduct of the BSKE in accordance with the Constitution, the Omnibus Election Code, and other applicable election laws and regulations.
