COMELEC Resolution No. 11195: Notice on Designation of Counting Centers

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗕𝗦𝗞𝗘

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲: COMELEC Resolution No. 11195

The 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖) has issued a resolution regarding the 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 for the upcoming 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗕𝗦𝗞𝗘).

𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦

📌 Election Officers are required to 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀
📌 Notices must be displayed in:

Offices of the Election Officer (OEO)
City or Municipal Halls
At least three (3) conspicuous public places

📌 Notices must indicate:

Assigned precincts per counting center
Number of registered voters

📌 Notices must be posted at least three (3) weeks before election day

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

📅 On or before 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Election Officers must:

✅ Post Projects of Precincts (POPs) in public places
✅ Provide copies of POPs to candidates
✅ Ensure updated and accurate precinct information

📌 The Information Technology Department (ITD), together with EBAD, must also:
➡️ Post POPs on the official COMELEC website

This measure ensures:

✅ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 in election processes
✅ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 for voters
✅ 𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 and counting procedures

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥

COMELEC directs all concerned offices to strictly comply with this resolution to ensure a 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 conduct of the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗕𝗦𝗞𝗘.
